The search is on for a man suspected of robbing at least 15 convenience stores in Harris and Fort Bend counties since September. Click to watch surveillance video Sugar Land Police have released surveillance photos of the man as he robbed a Sugar Land store clerk at gunpoint. The suspect robbed the Shell gas station at 1750 Williams Trace Blvd. at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 and the Chevron gas station at 3651 Highway 6 at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. The other 13 stores he's suspected of robbing are spread out through Houston, Harris and Fort Bend counties. The robber typically approaches the clerk with an item to purchase, displays a handgun and steals cash from the register. During the robberies, there were no other customers inside the store or outside purchasing gasoline. The suspect is described as an Asian man, possibly Vietnamese, with collar-length, black hair. He's 25 to 35 years old, 5'2" to 5'5" tall with a medium build and weighing 115-145 lbs. At the time of the robberies, he wore black, aviator-style sunglasses and a black-brimmed, white ball cap. The suspect leaves the crime scenes in the following vehicles: Sugar Land and Houston Police and Harris and Fort Bend County Sheriff Departments are working together to identify and apprehend the suspect.
