AstroWorld, which permanently closed in October, will hold a public auction Jan. 6-8.
Auction attendees must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid ID at registration. Parking will only be available at the administration building at 9001 Kirby Drive, and parking is $10 for passenger vehicles and $50 for trailers.
Cash and approved credit cards will only be accepted. Full payment is required on day of sale. A 10 percent buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price, and sales tax applies unless a tax exemption certificate is provided.
Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, 9 a.m.: machinery, tools, electronics, landscaping, merchandising and food service equipment
Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, 9 a.m.: Golf carts, vehicles and heavy equipment
Noon: amusement rides including Greezed Lightnin', XLR-8, Viper, Mayan Mindbender, Looping Starship, Barnstormer, Dentzel Carousel, water slides, soft play children’s attraction, and steam and land locomotives. All rides will have a reserve bid.
Sunday, Jan. 8, 11 a.m.: memorabilia, collectables and signage
