Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4700 South Kirkwood Drive on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back and head, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The witnesses and victim are from New Orleans.
The witnesses were staying with the victim, and they arrived at the victim's residence to find the door unlocked.
They found the man dead.
