With just three days until the new year, it's time to start preparing for the celebrations.
On Thursday, workers at the Hyatt will start preparing for one of Houston's biggest parties downtown.
Two nets will be filled with 30,000 that will be ready to be dropped at the stroke of midnight.
Crews will also be putting up decorations throughout the hotel and covering the lobby's floor with Astroturf.
