Police said have charged Eduardo Torres in the death of Pablo Habacuc Sotelo.
Torres has been charged with murder.
Police said Sotelo, 63, had been seen entering his apartment with Torres and an unknown male. Witnesses said Sotelo told them he was going to have company for the World Series game that night.
A pest control employee found Sotelo dead the next day in his apartment.
Investigators said they determined there was a struggle inside the apartment, and they recovered a large knife and a small knife handle.
