Man shot to death in north Houston

Houston police are searching for a gunman that burst into a north Houston apartment and opened fire.

It happened at the Skylane Apartments on the North Freeway at Airline.
Police said someone was trying to rob the resident, 22-year-old Joseph Alexander, of money and possibly drugs.
When he resisted, he was shot several times.
Police said they are still trying to put together a better description of the gunman.
