It started on Westheimer at Dairy Ashford when a Precinct 5 constable ran the license plate of a truck and discovered it was reported stolen.
After a 30-minute chase, the suspect finally stopped at his girlfriend's apartment complex in the 14200 block of Kimberly.
The girlfriend told police her boyfriend was supposed to be making payments on the truck to her dad.
But the father reported the truck stolen when the suspect would not pay.
