A longtime Fort Bend County district clerk is out of options and out of the race because of a simple mistake.
11 News received word Friday afternoon the Texas Supreme Court denied Glory Hopkins' appeal to have her name placed on the ballot after missing the filing deadline.
Hopkins said it happened because she was given the wrong zip code and her application never arrived at the Republican Party chair's office.
