A dispute over late rent turned deadly Sunday at an apartment complex on West Airport in southwest Harris County.
Police said the landlord tried breaking down the door of an apartment to seize personal property.
The resident, who was home, called her brothers, and they showed up and fought with the landlord.
Police said the landlord ending up shooting and killing one of the brothers in self-defense.
