Spring Branch student has meningitis

Spring Branch ISD is informing parents that a student at Wildcat Way has been diagnosed with meningococcal meningitis.

Wildcat Way is a preschool.
The affected child's condition has not been released, but the Houston Department of Health and Human Services is providing medication to any child in the same class as that student.
Letters were being sent home to parents Wednesday.
