Closing arguments are scheduled to begin Tuesday in the capital murder retrial of Max Soffar.
Soffar spent 25 years on death row for the 1980 murders of three people at a northwest Houston bowling alley.
Last year, an appeals court ruled his lawyer did a poor job of defending him and overturned his conviction.
Closing arguments were delayed last week, because there were not enough hotel rooms available for the jury because of the NBA All-Star Weekend.
