Mardi Gras fun for some children affected by Katrina

Some children affected by Hurricane Katrina will get to take part in some Mardi Gras fun.

A parade featuring lots of food and fun will be hosted at West Elementary School on Thursday.
More than 350 children who survived Katrina will be decked out in beads, masks and other party favors to celebrate Mardi Gras.
The fun kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
