Police said fog wasn't the only factor in an accident on Mesa Road at Little York.
They said the driver had also been drinking.
He couldn't make the curve on Mesa Road and went off of it, slamming into a tree. Rescue crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get the driver and his female passenger out of the mangled truck.
They were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
