HOUSTON - Houston Rockets General Manager Carroll Dawson announced today that the team has acquired forward Maciej Lampe from the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets in exchange for guard “Moochie” Norris. Lampe (6-11, Poland) has averaged 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 60 career games with Phoenix and NOK. This season, Lampe has seen action in only two games for the Hornets, averaging 2.0 rebounds. He has suffered several injuries. Norris (6-1, West Florida) averaged 2.2 points and 1 assist and 1.2 rebounds in 29 games with the Rockets. Norris was in his second stint with the Rockets after being acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks on Feb. 24, 2005.
