Woman found dead in Galveston was an Alief teacher

According to the Galveston County Daily News, the woman found dead near the Flagship Hotel was a first grade teacher at Cummings Elementary.

Alief ISD confirmed to the Daily News that 30-year-old Natasha Solidum was a teacher.
Crisis teams will be on site Monday for students and staff requiring counseling.
Officials said Solidum suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Her body was found floating in the water near 24th Street around 11 a.m. Thursday.
