The fire was reported around 3 a.m. Wednesday near Aldine Mail Route and Fall Meadow.
Harris County officials went to talk to the owners of the property, because it's illegal to do controlled burns at night. Those responsible could be cited.
The debris is mostly trees and brush and poses no threat to homes in the area.
