As the government winds down its fraud and conspiracy case against Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling, it is calling a couple former accountants from Arthur Andersen.

John R. Sult and Tom Bauer are first to take the stand on Monday. Ron Barone, an analyst with Standard & Poors will follow them.

Finally this week, Ben Glisan, Enron's former treasurer, who is now serving a five year prison sentence for conspiracy is the only government witness who is currently in federal custody to testify.

Sult was sworn in at 8:30 Monday morning. From 1999 through 2001, he worked as an Arthur Andersen accountant, specifically auditing Azurix, Enron's global water company. Sult, a native Houstonian, is currently the Chief Accounting Officer for El Paso Energy.

Last week, Judge Sim Lake told the court that proseuctors will rest their case the week of March 27th.
