The trial of a man accused of killing a Fort Bend County honor student is under way.
Testimony began Tuesday in the trial of 30-year-old Eric Small.
Prosecutors say he shot and killed 17-year-old Keneshia Scott in 2004. The victim was shot after a fight at a Missouri City nightclub.
Scott, an honors student at Elkins High School, was to graduate the following month. She planned to study nursing at Prairie View A&M University.
