A murder charge was filed Friday against a husband accused of fatally stabbing his wife after he caught her trying to leave him.
Victor Zavala remains in the Fort Bend County jail. Deputies arrested the 42-year-old Thursday after he came home and found a moving truck outside his Richmond area apartment. Investigator say he got angry, locked out the movers and stabbed his wife, Karen Goodspeed-Zavala. She later died at the hospital. |
