Two of the City Hall workers fired over unauthorized bonuses are trying to get their jobs back, but the question of the day is whether Mayor Bill White can help their case or not.
The mayor has been subpoenaed to testify before the civil service commission, but lawyers for the city said he shouldn't have too.
They said lower level employees are likely to know more about what happened.
The lawyers were meeting with the commission right Friday.
