I-10 westbound between Washington Avenue and the West Loop will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 p.m. Saturday.

The I-10 westbound ramps to 610 northbound and southbound will also be closed during that time period.

The designated detour for motorists on I-10 westbound to get to Loop 610 northbound will be to exit at Washington, make a right and continue to Old Katy Road and make a right onto the I-610 northbound frontage road.

Motorists on I-10 westbound who want to take Loop 610 southbound should continue westbound to exit at Wirt, make a U-turn to access I-10 eastbound to Loop 610 southbound.

Beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday, the West Loop northbound ramp to the Katy Freeway westbound will be closed.

Also starting at 12:01 a.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday, there will be a total closure of Old Katy Road eastbound and westbound between North Post Oak Blvd and Loop 610.

Also this weekend, alternate lanes of the Katy Freeway eastbound between Kirkwood and Gessner -- including the corresponding entrance and exit ramps and the I-10 eastbound direct connector ramps to Beltway 8 northbound and southbound -- will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Motorists on I-10 eastbound destined for Beltway 8 northbound and southbound should continue eastbound to exit at Bunker Hill, turn back via the signalized intersection and enter I-10 westbound to access Beltway 8 northbound and southbound via the direct connector ramps.

All closures are subject to change due to inclement weather.
