Music, prizes at Fresh Air Friday

Channel 11 is teaming up with the Houston-Galveston Area Council in this year’s Fresh Air Friday: A Picnic on the Plaza, an event to educate the community about local air quality issues and new technologies and solutions to combat the problem.

The third annual Fresh Air Friday will bring Houstonians out of their offices and into the plaza for fresh air, free live entertainment and great prizes. Join our very own, Channel 11’s news anchor Ron Trevino to learn about ways to keep the city beautiful and clean air programs that promote the use of alternative fuels, clean-engine technology and commute alternatives.

WHEN: Friday, March 31, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

WHERE: Jones Plaza – downtown Houston, 615 Louisiana (Between Texas and Capitol)

COST: Free and open to the public
