The longhorn that wandered into a Houston fire station early Tuesday is back home where he belongs. The longhorn surprised firefighters at Station 23 at Lawndale and Broadway early Tuesday. It walked in through the station’s garage door and casually roamed the station. The firefighters corralled it into a trailer and it was transported to the Harris County Sheriff's livestock facility in the Humble area. The bull's owner was eventually tracked down. Turns out he kept the bull at a barn where amateur bullriders practice nightly. The stable owner suspects the bullriders failed to lock up the bull after Monday evening's practice. |
