It happened on Grassmere in the South Houston neighborhood where the boys and the driver live.

Police say they'd been arguing for more than a month.

The driver told investigators the boys were taunting him and circling his car as he drove down the street and that he plowed into them fearing for his safety.

He took off but came back later to surrender.

The man faces a charge of felony aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

The boys' injuries are not life threatening.
