The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m.
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending notification to next of kin.
He was shot and transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital where he later died.
HPD said the victim was pulling into the parking lot of a club when his vehicle was partially blocked by the suspect's vehicle. The victim and his brother honked at the suspect and got out of their truck. They walked over to the suspect's front passenger side and began yelling at the suspect. A short time later, the suspect fired one shot striking the victim.
The suspect fled the location in a 1999 black Ford Expedition.
