Plans to build a veterans health clinic in Conroe has been given the green light. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs made the announcement Friday. The new facility will be a community-based outpatient clinic and will provide care to the estimated 8,700 veterans living in the Conroe area. Officials don't know exactly when the facility will open, but VA officials hope it will be taking care of patients by the end of the year. |
