A former Houston physician and three pharmacists were arrested and charged for conspiring to illegally distribute hydrocodone and promethazine with codeine, according to federal officials.
Alonzo Peters, the physician, and Ansa Hogan, Dennis George and Terry Green were named in a 54-count indictment.
The U.S. Attorney General's Office alleges that the four wanted to enrich themselves with the proceeds.
