A United States magistrate Thursday said a Galveston Hotel is incompetent to stand trial. That according to the Galveston County Daily news. Daniel Yen, 52, owns the Flagship Hotel in Galveston and is accused of ripping off FEMA. It's alleged he derauded FEMA out of money earmarked to help hurricane evacuees. Yeh's attorneys claim his client didn't know what he was doing because of three brain surgeries. The judge in the case has recommended Yeh get help for neurological brain damage before standing trial. |
