Hearing for teen suspect in park stabbing reset

The teen suspect in a park stabbing appeared in court Thuursday, but her hearing was reset.

Ashley Benton, 16, remains in custody.
Her grandmother has petitioned to gain custody of her, but the judge has postponed ruling on the issue until Monday at 11 a.m.
Also that day, the district attorney will decide whether or not to certify Benton to stand trial as an adult.
Houston police said Benton allegedly stabbed 15-year-old Gabriel Granillo to death last month.
