HEB to sponsor Thanksgiving Day Parade

This year's Thanksgiving Day Parade has a new sponsor.

Mayor Bill White Wednesday announced HEB will sponsor the annual event.

The parade lost its major sponsor last year.

The event was reportedly threatened after its major sponsor pulled out.

HEB says this year it will also host a Thanksgiving feast after the parade.
