HPD: Man says he accidentally shot and killed his brother

Police are questioning a man after he said he accidentally shot his brother.

It happened around midnight at the family's home on Chapman and Quitman.
The 21-year-old man said he was showing off his shotgun when it accidentally went off, killing his 17-year-old brother.
The case will be referred to the district attorney, who will decide whether or not charges will be filed.
