The civil rights leader and the Rainbow Push coalition will lead a rally outside B-P's Texas City plant. Last month Jackson organized a series of protests against the company saying it lacked racial diversity. He also criticized its safety and environmental record. Tuesday’s rally begins at 10. The conservative group Judicial Watch said Jackson is trying to use his influence to black-mail companies with what it calls absurd discrimination threats. |
