A northwest Harris County woman's home was badly damaged, still she's counting her blessings Thursday. Nancy Edwards said she was on the phone when all of a sudden she heard a loud bang. It turns out, her home was struck by lightning. "I felt it and heard it and hollered on the phone line because it went dead. My neighbors actually saw it, they said it was like a ball of fire. It felt like their houses were struck at the time," said Edwards. Edwards' neighbors got her out safely. The attic and second floor of the home were badly damaged.
