Search for man who jumped into bayou called off

Houston firefighters have called of the search for a man who they say jumped into Brays Bayou.

It happened last night in the 5800 block of Almeda near MacGreggor in southeast Houston.
Firefighters checked several intersections along the bayou using flashlights and a police helicopter.
The bayou is swollen from the week's rain.
