Causeway traffic to hit 30 minute snag Sunday

A 30-minute delay awaits anyone heading to the beach Sunday morning.

The Galveston Causeway will be shut down for half an hour at 8 a.m.

Crews are going to blow up part of the old span in an effort to bring down the old causeway.

There are several shutdowns scheduled through February 2007.
