Habitat for Humanity has reportedly raised enough money to build 100 homes for Hurricane Katrina evacuees. The NAACP is helping with 25 of those homes. On Friday volunteers started raising the walls on one home in northeast Houston. The home will go to an 86- year old man, his daughter and granddaughter. They all lost their home in New Orleans. |
