Republican Rick Perry, Democrat Chris Bell and Independent candidates Carol Keaton Strayhorn and Kinky Freidman have agreed to join in the hour-long debate at 7 p.m. on October 6.

All Texas stations owned by Channel 11's parent company Belo will broadcast the debate, as will their Web sites.
