Lawyers for Harris County are challenging an Appeals Court ruling that bars a bible from being displayed outside the civil courthouse.
Earlier this month a three-judge panel on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the display violates the separation of church and state. Now Harris County is asking the full court to hear the case.
