Local teachers are getting a science lesson, thanks to HISD and Rice University.
Thanks to HISD and Rice University elementary school teachers will spend one day a week in a lab doing science projects.
It’s hoped teachers will bring back this hands on knowledge to the classroom and children will benefit by being better prepared for tests like the TAKS.
