From the “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished” Department: Remember when Dallas ISD took in all those Wilmer Hutchins kids after their school district imploded? And how TEA promised to send Dallas an extra $4 million for doing so? That was more than a year ago. According to DISD’s 2007 financial report, the state only sent about half of the money.
