What the media, blogs and others are saying about DISD today.

** Our editorial board likes the high school reforms. But can we really call the idea "bold" when it's been around for 35 years and already in use in about 2,000 other schools?

** A decision by the State Board of Ed affects DISD. The district's use of a certain math textbook could be in jeopardy.

** This story about the reliance on subs as classroom teachers doesn't mention DISD, but it's an issue that our local district knows all too well.
