Not much in the news today.

DISD has wasted even more of the taxpayers money at Hill Junior High School. They installed at least 6 temporary buildings on the playground, one covered a baseball diamond. Then, after the neighborhood became upset about the placement of temp buildings right on the edge of school propery, facing Classen Drive, they removed them and placed them up closer to the school building as they should have been in the first place. This was also due to the fire hazard of not having a Dallas City Code enforcable fire lane that could access the temp buildings. I would like to see the total dollar amount spent instaling all the electrical and concrete walkways that were then torn up and redone after the building were moved. I am sure the amount is in the upper thousands as the work was done over the Christmas and New Year holidays and weekends. Can Investigative Reporters please look into the enormous wasted tax dollars and please publish this on local television for all of Dallas to see?

DISD installed temp buildings in violation of City code at Hill Junior High School. These buildings were then moved again and all the concrete sidewalks torn up and redone at taxpayers cost.
What a waste of $$.
