** The Observer weighs in on the Skyline dust-up.

** I told myself when we launched this project, that we wouldn't blog on DISD sports. But the district rolled out the cameras yesterday for national athletic scholarship signing day. I've always wondered how many of these big-time scholarship kids from Dallas actually parlay their gifts into a college diploma. Maybe I'll check into that.

Yes, please check into whether these kids get a college degree. DISD schools should not serve as a farm system for college and professional football.
