Inexpensive art by real artists!

manymountains_artworkimage_1.jpgRecently discovered 20x200 -- a website that sells prints from artists at ridiculously low prices. The site was started by Jen Bekman who opened her namesake gallery on New York's Lower East Side with the mission of supporting emerging artists and collectors.

The site introduces two new pieces a week: one photo and one work on paper. Each image is available in three sizes -- the smallest size reprinted in the largest batch – an edition of 200 – and sold at the lowest price – $20. Hence the name 20x200. Larger prints are also available with medium-sized editions of 20 for $200 and large-sized editions of 2 generally for $2000.

Every single print is delivered with a certificate of authenticity numbered by the artist.

My fave find: There's only 134 small $20 prints left of "Many Mountains" by artist Ky Anderson (above).
