YouTube has just released a new video upload program that raises the file size limit from 100mb to 1gb. With running times still capped at 10 minutes, this new program won't lead to longer videos, but it should lead to much sharper ones. The new uploader also allows users to upload many videos at the same time. This is great news for folks who use YouTube to share family videos and for folks who want to show real filmmaking chops. It's also good news for YouTube viewers, though some folks think YouTube should ditch the time cap. A new uploader for Mac users is reportedly on the way. E-mail entry: |
