What gizmos did people buy for their loved ones this Christmas? If other retailers saw the same trends as Amazon, the answer seems to be iPods, iPods and more iPods. Various types of Apple's wonder product occupied five of the top 10 spots on Amazon's list of most-gifted electronics. Amazon updates the list daily, but it's been holding pretty steady throughout the holiday season. That's good news for Apple, which also took four of the top 10 spots on Amazon's list of most gifted computers. Frankly, I'm surprised the iPod continues to sell so well. Are there really people out there who want iPods but have yet to get one or are they all just replacing old or broken predecessors? E-mail entry: |
