Apple has finally released software that CEO Steve Jobs promised last month, software that allows Apple TV to rent movies from iTunes. The new software lets Apple TV owners rent more than a thousand movies, including more than a hundred high-definition movies. In standard definition, new movies cost four dollars while older movies cost three dollars. High-definition movies cost a dollar more. The update is free.
