I'm perpetually astounded by just how sophisticated modern robots have become. Exhibit A:
Segway inventor and all around smart guy Dean Kamen shows off the robotic prosthetic arm his firm has created. Again, this isn't a pie-in-the-sky flying car that could be on the market in a decade or two. The prototype is already fully functional and the final product could be on the market in a year or so. Dutch inventors are reinventing the full-service gas station with a robotic gas pump that can recognize your car when you pull up, pop open the cap and insert the nozzle in the tank.
